Jul ’15 – Apr ‘20   Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University (DIU). Appointed on 14th of July 2015 by the Chancellor and President of People's Republic of Bangladesh for a period of four (04) years. Have contributed to the overall development of DIU leading DIU to become a ranked university in a short period of time.

Experience Summary: Working for industry projects and for educational institutions, I have acutely become aware of gaps in practical implementation of proposed plans or concepts, i.e., design-reality gaps. I have taken it as a challenge to close such gaps. My skills are therefore now focused on methods and teaching techniques to find and close gaps. The gaps may be process gaps, learning gaps, human performance gaps or gaps in software project implementation. My teaching interests have correspondingly converged to subjects that may help to close the gaps – one such target is developing a question based learning approach in students to face study as well as life’s challenges.
